thanks for the tip re xelatex and extras.  Such fun…so easy compared to NFSS horror I learned years ago (um, a decade ago).</description>

		<description>I think I toyed with it a couple of times, but I never had a document that was complex enough to justify Sweave but computationally simple enough so that the whole process was brief/painless.

I thought that I would have more time to do these things properly now (literate programming, version control, the whole shebang), but after having wasted half the day with TeXLive installation (and still being unable to use unicode-math + xelatex), I doubt it...</description>
